Oval No. 13
A simple mandolin with X braced top and back. The top wood is Fir but I can't be more specific than that being that it was reclaimed from a packing crate stored for forty years in my neighbors basement. It is beautiful wood, incredibly close grained, stiff and responsive and I've used it in a number of flat top (15' Radius) instruments.
